Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha plant belongs to Solanaceae family and is short, tender perennial shrub growing abot 15-20 inches tall. Leaves are dull green and elliptic. The flowers are small, green and bell-shaped. The ripe fruit is orange-red. The roots of the plant have a strong horse-like odor.
